Route Feature:
In the late 18th century, an British man Watt invented the steam engine,
which caused the Industrial Revolution originated from England and in
no time it spread worldwide, steam engines played a very important role
during this great social development. More than 2 hundred years have passed,
the steam engine has almost totally been submerged in the history, fortunately
people still can find its trace in the mountains located in China’s southwest
province, Sichuan.
The tour itinerary:
Day 1:Chengdu -Leshan-Mt.Emei
Start from Chengdu by bus in the morning, sightseeing the beautiful rural
scene of Chuanxi Plain. (two-hour distance by the expressway) Reach Leshan
at noon, after lunch sightseeing the statue of Giant Buddha which is the
biggest of the world, Lingyun Temple, then drive to Emei mountain.
Live in Emei's hotel

Day 2:Full Day Mt.Emei Sightseeing
In the early morning leave hotel,go to Golden Peak by cableway.To see
the Sunrise, enjoy the cloud sea, Huazang temple. Then,go to Wannian temple,Qingyinge.At
nightfall,Back to Chengdu.
